My cookie batter mixture looks dry and lumpy? What should I do?

My chips aren’t melting!
When making Thin Mints®, it should take between 5 – 10 minutes for your chips to fully melt. There are a few ways to help make this process go faster: Make sure your oven is still be in the ON position. Spread the chips out evenly on the baking pan. Stirring the chips often using a knife or spoon will help them to melt more quickly.
My pan got stuck inside the oven. What should I do?
First, refer to your instructions to make sure you are inserting the baking pan into the oven in the correct position. If the pan is in the oven properly, and is still stuck, slowly and carefully slide the cookie control all the way to the right. Then, very slowly slide the control all the way back to the left.
